Burgundy

From Tim

Burgundy is the reason this business exists, and it's where I spend most of my buying time. I'm a sucker for the Old World and I buy for drinking windows rather than for scores. That's why so much of this list comes from Chanson, Albert Bichot, Domaine Seve and Domaine de la Folie, and why I go looking in Givry, Savigny, Santenay and Rully as well as the famous villages. Those are the places where you get the vineyards without paying for the name on the front.
