History
Malcolm Isaac had a long career in farming and was new to vines when he bought Exton Park in 2009. Exton Park calls him "one of the great trailblazers of English sparkling wine". He has since died, aged 95 according to the estate.
Corinne Seely joined in 2011. She trained in Bordeaux at Domaine de Chevalier and worked as a consultant in Australia, the Languedoc and the Douro before coming to England. Building up a library of reserve wines was her strategy from the start, so the wines would taste consistent whatever the English weather did. In August 2026 Nick Morton took over as chief executive. He previously worked at Berry Bros. & Rudd, Pernod Ricard and The Last Drop Distillers.
The vineyard and the wines
Everything comes from the one vineyard. Exton Park only uses grapes it grows itself and makes every wine in its own winery. The vineyard is split into plots with different slopes, exposures and microclimates, and each is picked and made separately. The chalk gives concentrated fruit and high acidity, which Exton Park wants to show off rather than soften.
Its signature is the Reserve Blend range, labelled "RB" plus a number. The number is roughly how many reserve wines go into the blend, drawn from a library that goes back to 2011. Vintage wines are made only in exceptional years. Exton Park says it was the first in the UK to experiment with sea-aged wine and the first to make a pure Pinot Meunier rosé.
The vineyard is a founding member of WineGB's Sustainable Wines of Great Britain scheme. It uses solar power, and sheep, birds, bees and wildflowers help with fertility and pest control. Fred Langdale won a Nuffield Farming Scholarship in 2020 to research frost protection and sustainable cool-climate viticulture.

RB32 Brut is the signature Brut: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from an average of 32 reserve wines, including the estate's oldest reserves. It spends the longest time in bottle of any Reserve Blend.
RB45 Blanc de Blancs is all Chardonnay and has the most reserve wines in the range. Exton Park describes it as flinty and smoky.
