A key wine-producing district of Burgundy in the east of France.

The Côte de Beaune area is the southern part of the Côte d'Or, the limestone ridge that is home to the great names of Burgundy wine. The Côte de Beaune starts between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune, and extends southwards for about 25 km to the river Dheune. The trend of producing red wines continues from the Côte de Nuits to the north, down through Beaune, although the wines become lighter and more perfumed. Farther south lie the great names of white Burgundy such as Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet.

Our Bourgogne Chardonnay "ORIGINES" is produced from vines located in the Côte de Beaune and Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. The diversity of their exposure and altitude allows us to work with a mosaic of plots. consequently, we are able to achieve gorgeous aromatic complexity. The vines' venerable age gives this wine particularly concentrated aromas, with straightforward and characteristic flavors.
TASTING
The predominant white flower and citrus nose leads to notes of honey and dried fruit. The palate is very well balanced, skilfully blending vivacity and roundness.
FOOD/WINE PAIRING
This Bourgogne Chardonnay "ORIGINES" with the charm of its aromatic palette, makes it a fine match for seafood, fish cooked in sauce, or simply prepared white meats.
